 Welcome to 22nd of Never! 

We are a print studio founded by British-born graphic illustrator and printmaker James Hilton. Since moving to Florida, James has found the explosion of color and personality that is Miami. The flood of visceral feelings begged to become illustrative nostalgia.

James’s art meets at the crossroads of past and present—like a beautifully crafted classic car—a vessel that travels across place and time, telling stories, making memories. Family-run and based in Miami, Florida, James’ art not only celebrates regional beauty, but encompasses an eternal state of sunshine that can be experienced or relived anywhere.

The studio takes its name from the same turn of phrase which reflects James laid back attitude to life. The 22nd of Never harks back to childhood games and playful rebellion. “Good luck finding my hiding spot. You’ll see me on the 22nd of never!” It’s also a small family business, and each of our birthdays are on the 22nd of the respective month.
